Showcraft is a studio app in private beta, run by its maker. This page says what it keeps about you and why. It is short because the app does little with your data beyond the work you do in it.
Showcraft receives your Google account id, your name and your email address, and keeps them to recognise you next time. It asks nothing else from Google: no contacts, no files, no calendar. A cookie holds your session for ninety days; signing out ends it.
Your projects, scripts, takes, notes, recordings and their transcripts stay on the server that runs the app, on Google Cloud in the United States, for your own use. Spoken notes and requests are transcribed by an audio service, and when Showcraft's companion answers you, your words and your project's text go to an AI model to write the answer. Your own AI assistant, when you connect it, reads what the app's tools return to it.
It does not sell, rent or share your data, it shows nothing of yours to other users, and it sends no email beyond answering yours.
To see what is kept, or to have your account and everything in it removed, write to the support address shown on Google's sign-in page. The removal is done by hand, within a few days.
